Description

The Custom Headlight & Taillight LED Adapter Wire is a tailor-built conductive harness for plugging into a vehicle's existing headlight, taillight, or LED module socket and presenting a different connector — male or female — on the other end. This is the bread-and-butter assembly for LED upgrades, aftermarket retrofits, fleet harness extensions, and NEV lighting projects where the donor connector does not match the new lamp. Cold-press copper terminals and PVC V0 flame-retardant insulation deliver clean, stable conductivity at the high frequencies used by modern LED drivers and CAN-bus controllers.

Every adapter is built one-to-one to your drawing or sample. Core count, pin count, terminal type (male or female), and wire length are all customized. The standard length is 250 mm, but we routinely build 100 mm pigtails and 3-meter extensions. Production runs on a fully automatic cold-press line with 100% terminal pull-tests and a 1500 VAC / 1-minute high-voltage withstand check before packing. Compatibility covers all mainstream automotive connector families — AMP (TE Connectivity), JST, Sumitomo, KET, Molex, Yazaki, and Delphi — so the adapter drops directly into existing harness sockets without splicing.

What is the difference between male and female terminal versions?
The male terminal version has pins that insert into the mating connector — typically used on the harness side that plugs into the headlight or LED module. The female terminal version has receptacles that accept the pins.
